  • Within a one-day truck drive of 75% of the US and Canadian population
  • Bisected by the CSX main line that runs from St. Louis to the east coast.  The rail travels through Parker City, Farmland, Winchester, Harrisville, and Union City in Randolph County

Indiana is:

  • Intersected by more U.S. highways than any other state in the nation
  • Home to three state-of-the-art international ports, each a Foreign Trade Zone
  • Home to the world’s second-largest FedEx hub
  • Crossed by 4,165 miles of active railway tracks

  • At the juncture between two Regional Transmission Organizations—PJM and Midwest ISO—perfect for nationwide distribution of power from wind farms and other alternative energy sources
  • Home to two 1MW wind turbines, with several large-scale wind developments pending

Indiana is:

  • Home to over 1,000 MW of wind power generation
  • Is the fastest-growing state for wind energy installations
